Accommodation near the Portuguese border

Tui and Valença do Minho are 20 minutes from Casa Xoubiña in Mos. The international bridge over the river Miño connects the two towns and lets you cross into Portugal on foot or by car.

Tui boasts an impressive cathedral-fortress and a historic quarter that deserves a whole morning. On the Portuguese side, Valença offers its walled fortress, a bustling market and superb food at very reasonable prices.

From Mos you can also join the Portuguese Way, which crosses this very border on its route to Santiago.
